Posting Number 01122 Position Title Work Study - Assistant Education Department School of Education: Dean's Office Position Summary
This position will support the Dean, Coordinator of Field Placements and Partnerships, and faculty in the School of Education with office management and School projects.
Education/Experience
Current enrolled student at Stevenson University in good standing with the University, academically and judicially, with Federal Work Study eligibility. School of Education students preferred. Student must have at least a 2.5 GPA.
Knowledge/Skills/Ability
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
Physical Requirements
Light work: Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move object. Standing and/or sitting, walking, keyboarding, talking and hearing. Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as viewing a computer terminal. Clear speaking voice.
Essential Functions
  • Provide support for office management of the Dean's Office (including copying/scanning, inventory, organizing, and updating files)
  • Provide support to the Academic Program Coordinators in their respective departments with digital data management, file organization, and campus deliveries 
  • Provide support for School of Education events, including but not limited to event set up/break down, designing event flyers, preparing materials, and booking event spaces
  • Provide support for School of Education Portal and Social Media pages by collaborating with the Marketing and Digital Communications team to upload posts in agreement with Stevenson University standards
