Position Description:
Processes items to be listed for sale by accurately determining their value or collectible interest. Assists in pulling items for shipping department by picking items from daily pick list for Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Meets or exceeds daily production goals.
2. Safeguards all GSFB property including donated goods. Reports any suspicious behavior, incidents of theft or unauthorized possession/removal of GSFB property.
3. Communicates with Manager or Assistant Manager on issues that require solutions beyond the standard protocol.
4. Immediately advises supervisor of significant and unexpected problems. Communicates needs with other Team Members.
5. Builds and maintains effective quality working relationships with internal customers. Promotes and demonstrates teamwork and cooperation.
6. Maintains inventory of jewelry on hand for shipment.
7. Moves containers of collectibles using pallet jack when required. Unloads collectibles from containers and places on the shelves or in appropriate staging area.
8. Handles fragile items with care to avoid damage or breakage.
9. Keeps shipping area stocked with boxes and other packing items.
10. Retains high degree of product knowledge.
11. Maintains work area in a safe, clean, and orderly fashion. Cleans work area at the end of each day, following safety rules and regulations at all times.
12. Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.

14. Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):
High School Diploma or GED
Excellent customer service skills, with effective written and verbal communication
Strong internet navigation skills
Ability to speak and read English proficiently
Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position
