BARTENDER/CONCESSIONS ATTENDANT
WOODSTOCK OPERA HOUSE

We are seeking talented and enthusiastic Bartenders to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

JOB SUMMARY

The City of Woodstock is seeking a limited part-time Bartender/Concessions Attendant with the Woodstock Opera House and Stage Left. No experience is required for this entry level position - we will train! This position is responsible to provide customer service via concession services and bartending for the Opera House and cafe facilities. The work is performed under the supervision of the Hospitality Manager. The position may work up to 20 hours per week with hours in the evenings and weekends.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school diploma/equivalent with previous customer service work experience which includes cash handling.
  2. Must be at least 21 years of age.
  3. Must obtain BASSET/Servsafe certification within 30 days from date of hire.

VARIOUS SHIFTS AND SCHEDULES - WE ARE FLEXIBLE!

  • Various shifts available
  • Flexible schedules - work as little as 1 shift a week
  • Thursday- Saturday evening and day time shifts available
  • Sunday afternoon shifts available
  • Hours vary, approximately 3.5 to 5 hours shifts
  • Evening shifts: Start time between 5pm and 6pm and end before 11:00 PM for most events
  • Daytime shifts: Start between 11am and 1pm and end before 6:00 PM for most events
  • October - December are our busiest months

SALARY:

Generous wage of $15/hour + tips! Potentially earn $20 - $35/per hour with combined base wage and tips. No additional benefits with the exception of Accrued Sick Leave - earn 1 hour for every 40 hours worked on a prorated basis and available for use after 100 calendar days of employment.
