Job Opportunity: Wood Production Worker

People Plus is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join a local manufacturing team as a Wood Production Worker.

Schedule: Monday โ€“ Friday, 6:00 a.m. โ€“ 4:30 p.m.
Pay: $14-16 an hour

Responsibilities:
  • Perform machining, assembly, sanding, and finishing of wood components
  • Operate woodworking machinery and power tools such as table saws, band saws, planers, jointers, sanders, and routers
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood parts according to drawings, templates, and work orders
  • Sand, finish, glue, and fasten parts to meet quality and appearance specifications
  • Inspect finished pieces for defects and take corrective actions or report issues
  • Maintain accurate production records and document completed work
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials and staging finished products for shipping
  • Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized
