Job description

Wood Carpenter / Framer – Modular Building Construction

Location: Burleson, TX
Pay Rate: $20.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Minimum 40 Hours Per Week
Pay Frequency: Weekly

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Wood Carpenters/Framers to join our team in Burleson, TX, building and finishing modular structures. Candidates should have experience with wood framing, construction tools, and general carpentry practices. Drywall hanging experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Perform wood framing and carpentry work on modular buildings.
  • Read and follow construction drawings and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood components accurately.
  • Install walls, floors, roof structures, and framing systems.
  • Hang and finish drywall as needed.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all site safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in wood framing, carpentry, or construction required.
  • Drywall hanging experience preferred.
  • Ability to use common carpentry hand and power tools.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials.
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Work Schedule
  • Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (as scheduled)
  • Sunday: Off
PPE & Dress Code RequirementsRequired PPE
  • Safety glasses must be worn at all times.
Footwear
  • Steel-toe boots are not required.
  • Boots/shoes must be puncture-resistant.
  • If puncture-resistant footwear is not available, Indicom will provide puncture-resistant inserts.
Clothing Requirements
  • Long pants required at all times.
  • No joggers or sweatpants.
  • No sleeveless shirts.
  • Clothing must be appropriate for a construction environment.
