Position Summary

The Strategy Manager plays a key role in shaping and executing the NBA's Corporate Strategy across the NBA, WNBA, G League, and NBA 2K League. This individual will advance the ideation, evaluation, and execution of high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that drive growth and unlock new revenue opportunities across emerging and established business lines. The role involves close collaboration with senior leaders across the organization to advance the NBA's long-term strategic direction.


Major Responsibilities

  • Set priorities and execution plans for cross-functional growth projects with supervisors and business unit leaders.

  • Manage workstreams on key projects to deliver timely, high-quality outputs across teams

  • Guide project teams, delegate tasks, balance development needs, and serve as the main point of contact

  • Identify risks and issues; propose solutions and manage risks to protect project outcomes

  • Produce high-impact deliverables and presentations that meet executive standards

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the NBA, WNBA, G League, 2k to define and drive strategic priorities


Required Education/Professional Experience

  • BA/BS degree or relevant professional experience preferred

  • 2+ years of professional experience, preferably at a top-tier strategy consulting firm, investment bank or corporate strategy in media/entertainment

Required Skills/Knowledge Attributes

  • Outstanding quantitative, financial, research, modeling, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong leadership and project management skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

  • Knowledge of Sports, Entertainment, Media and Technology industries preferred

  • Ability to communicate with senior executives both inside and outside the organization

  • Ability to recognize patterns and spot issues

  • Proactive, self-starter who can work independently within set objectives

  • Experience working and multi-tasking in a dynamic, fast-paced environment


Salary Range:

$110,000 - $125,000
