The purpose of the Project Manager role is to oversee and coordinate multiple related projects within the IT Group Supply Chain portfolio to ensure they align with strategic objectives. This role is responsible for managing resources, timelines, and risks across projects, ensuring successful delivery while maintaining budget and quality standards. The Project Manager serves as a key point of contact between project teams and stakeholders during the project lifecycle.

The initial scope will be managing the WMS project, including initial deployment in North America and Mexico, followed by global scale and optimization.

What will you do:
  • Project Management: Develop project charters and governance structures, and facilitate Steering Committee meetings, workshops, and key decision forums.ย 
  • Develop and maintain detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for each project.
  • Identify and manage dependencies between tasks, ensuring alignment across teams and timelines.
  • Coordinate and oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely execution, quality, and budget adherence.
  • Work with functional managers in IT Supply Chain to ensure that all project deliverables meet business needs and technical requirements.
  • Program Planning and Strategy
  • Contribute to program objectives and strategies that align with IT and Supply Chain goals.
  • Collaborate with the Portfolio management team to ensure that project initiatives align with the overall portfolio and business objectives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for all projects under their responsibility.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Reporting
  • Regularly communicate program status, risks, and outcomes to the key stakeholders.
  • Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners.
  • Provide consistent updates and reports on project progress and facilitate meetings to ensure alignment and address issues as they arise.
  • Budget Management and Resource Allocation
  • Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to manage program budgets, ensuring efficient use of financial resources.
  • Assist in resource planning and allocation, balancing needs across multiple projects.
  • Governance and Process Improvement:
  • Ensure that IT project governance standards are followed, including change control processes, documentation, and approvals.
  • Support process improvement initiatives.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to supply chain management, leveraging insights to drive innovation and competitiveness.
What you'll bring to BIC:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management, IT, Supply Chain or a related field.
  • Preferably experience working with enterprise systems such as ERP, WMS, and integration platforms, including WMS implementations and warehouse process transformation.
  • Fluent English. French or Spanish preferred. We are working in a multicultural environment
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and IT transformation projectsย 
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and software applications commonly used in supply chain management (JDE, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Power BI, Plex, Shiptify)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of working collaboratively across teams and levels of the organization.ย 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Preferred but not required: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent + certifications in Agile methodologies can be advantageous
