Job description

The Role

The Marketing & Engagement Coordinator is a key member of World Link Ministries’ Development team, responsible for promoting WLM’s mission, programs, impact, and events while strengthening engagement with donors, churches, partners, and the broader community.

This is a hands-on creative and production role combining marketing, storytelling, digital communications, event coordination, and fundraising support. The coordinator will help bring World Link’s story to life through web, print, email, video, social media, and donor communications.

This person will work closely with the CEO and other team members to execute campaigns, manage digital platforms, create content, support donor communications, and help plan and execute major events including the Global Impact Dinners and Harvest Gathering.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing and communication campaigns that support fundraising and donor engagement.
  • Design digital and print materials including invitations, programs, graphics, presentations, and campaign collateral.
  • Manage and regularly update WLM’s website and social media channels.
  • Gather stories, photos, videos, and ministry updates from field teams and turn them into compelling donor-facing content.
  • With the Development Director, plan and coordinate donor events, including budgets, venues, vendors, contracts, registration, communications, and event materials.
  • Build and send mass donor communications through our donor database
  • Help ensure consistent branding, messaging, and visual identity across all WLM communications.
  • Manage marketing and event projects and assets from concept through completion


Qualifications

  • Experience in mission-driven marketing communications, nonprofit experience strongly preferred, along with an understanding of donor engagement and stewardship
  • A heart for missions and alignment with WLM's evangelical Christian mission and values
  • Strong eye for design and storytelling, with the ability to produce both polished and quick-turnaround content
  • Experience planning and executing special events preferred
  • Knowledge of social media industry trends and best practices
  • Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with a donor database or CRM, including building and sending mass email and print communications
  • Experience updating websites and working with content management systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, in person and on the phone
  • Adaptable with strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for events
