Job description

The Wistar Institute has an opening for a Research Assistant to join the laboratory of Dr. Yulia Nefedova. The Nefedova Laboratory focuses on the biology of myeloid cells in cancer, primarily multiple myeloma, and identification of potential therapeutic targets in this disease. The successful candidate will provide technical support by performing laboratory tasks and experiments. Responsibilities will include processing tissue samples from patients, performing flow cytometry analysis,, isolation cells from human and mouse tissues, and basic mouse colonies maintenance. ย 

A bachelorโ€™s degree in a science-related field is required and some experience working ย in a laboratory environment is preferred. Experience in the handling of laboratory animals (mice), flow cytometry, ย and the knowledge of bioinformatics is also preferred.
