We are currently seeking a Field Sales Representative to support our Permian basin districts out of Midland/Odessa, TX.
PURPOSE:
Responsible to make sales calls to client field locations and wellsite operations to sell KLXE products and/or services within a specified field sales territory. Establishes relationships with customers, visits field sites to follow up on jobs that were sold and consults with customer and other stakeholders. Directly involved in the customers development activities and driving new sales business, which includes: building and maintaining customer relationships, keeping apprised of competition's initiatives, driving growth, and assisting in the planning and coordinating of jobs.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Expanding our product base with assigned customers and territory and assist with changing needs of customers and applying appropriate product solutions.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and quoting prices promptly and accurately.
  • Managing customer accounts regarding sales opportunities, new product line uptake, and addressing all issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Attending and participating in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows.
  • Conducting in-person meetings/presentations/trainings at field locations to ensure customer knowledge with our products and services.
  • Closing business and following-up to ensure satisfaction and consistent service.
  • Understands customers' needs and ensures products and services are marketed, positioned and understood by key decision makers in customer field organizations.
  • Proactively networking for new-customer contacts with intention of building long-lasting business relationships
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent
  • Work Experience: 4-6 years
  • Related Experience:
    • Knowledge of all KLXE product line[s] and services
    • Minimum of 4 years in oil and gas or sales experience
    • Demonstrated success in new account penetration and account management
    • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Degree Field (s): Sales and Marketing or Related Field experience
  • Work Experience: 6-8 years
  • Related Experience:
    • Relevant outside sales experience in the oil and gas industry with a track record of account growth.
    • Intimate knowledge of industry clientele in major plays
    • Ability to turn opportunities and leads into sales bookings
    • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
    • Proven ability to make sound decisions and recommendations in a conceptual selling environment
