This role bridges field operations and product, supporting wireline crews and operator teams during deployment, troubleshooting issues at the wellsite, testing and validating new models and features, and helping shape product-market fit as CCL scales across customers. The Solutions Engineer partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Product, and Sales to be the trusted technical voice for wireline workflows across the customer lifecycle. โ€ข Provide field troubleshooting for wireline crews and operator engineers, working directly with wellsite personnel to resolve issues with tools, data, and Corva apps in real time.
โ€ข Test and validate new CCL models, algorithms, and app features against real wireline operations data; provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering on accuracy, usability, and gaps.
โ€ข Validate product-market fit for CCL and adjacent wireline offerings; capture customer requirements, workflows, and pain points, and translate them into clear inputs for the roadmap.
โ€ข Develop and maintain timelines and documentation for CCL onboarding and rollout phases.
โ€ข Capture notes and feedback from critical meetings, wellsite visits, and Intercom conversations. Communicate issues proactively to Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Product.
โ€ข Facilitate training workshops with our Engineering and Product teams, sharing wireline field context to sharpen how we build.
โ€ข Contribute customer success assets including case studies, app manuals, SOPs, and training material specific to wireline and cased-hole logging operations.
โ€ข Use analytics to understand how customers are using Corva wireline products and identify opportunities to improve their experience.
โ€ข Track and resolve all problems that customers experience with the software.
โ€ข Gauge customer health and success by tracking platform usage, NPS, and NSAT ratings.
Qualifications
Wireline field experience required, hands-on background as a wireline engineer, field specialist, or operations supervisor with a major wireline service company or operator.
  • Emphasize casing deformation expertise and deep technical knowledge.
  • Nice to have: experience with data integration platforms, including systems like Sigmastream and API-based workflows.
  • Value-driven experience, such as case studies, client cost savings, operational improvements, or other measurable contributions.

โ€ข Familiarity with wireline data formats, surface and downhole equipment, and the day-to-day realities of wellsite operations.
โ€ข Strong technical and customer service skills, with the ability to translate field problems into clear product and engineering requirements.
โ€ข Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish a strong plus.
โ€ข Comfortable working cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Product, and Sales teams.
โ€ข Analytical thinking skills, able to test models, interpret results, and provide structured feedback.
โ€ข Ability to train others and run customer-facing workshops.
โ€ข Skills in Microsoft Office suite and comfort navigating modern web applications.
โ€ข Experience in oil and gas required.
โ€ข Travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time, including to active wellsites.
