Job description

Position Overview: Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Administrator to support the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This is a full-time, on-site role within a 24/7 operational environment. Candidates must be flexible and available for rotating shifts based on mission priorities. This position plays a critical role in supporting key DoD missions and their associated networks. *This position requires an Active Secret Clearance to be considered for the role* Key Responsibilities: * Proactively investigate and resolve network monitoring alerts using available documentation and research.
* Diagnose circuit issues using router commands, loopback tests, error/alarm analysis, and other troubleshooting methods.
* Monitor network performance using specialized tools; escalate issues as needed.
* Create and maintain incident tickets using Remedy.
* Provide real-time troubleshooting across a global network infrastructure.
Required Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent, with 3+ years of relevant experience.
* Practical experience with LAN/WAN technologies including Ethernet, MPLS, VPNs, and wireless networking.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ or equivalent).
* Active Secret Clearance with eligibility for upgrade to Top Secret.
Compensation & Benefits: * Salary range: $55,000 - $65,500, based on experience.
