Job Description

Person will be expected to:

-Implement acquired controllers and Aps

-Interested in leveraging for mapping/wayfinding

-Authenticate via ISE based portal

-Will soon be deploying RFID across wireless.

-All Cisco hardware.

Additional Info. They just upgraded controllers and went down to two for their campuses, down from I believe 10 or so.

They added 200 new AP's and will reuse the rest. I believe they have more than 1,000 now.

Qualifications
  •  5 years, linux/kernel driver development
  •  5 years, embedded software/firmware development
  •  Expert in C
  •  Strong 802.11 experience, MAC, PHY, QoS
  •  Knowledge of networking layers - ethernet, IP, IPv6
  •  Experience debugging hardware/firmware - JTAG, etc


Preferred experience:

  •  DFS, radar detection, spectral scan, DFS certification
  •  ath9k/ath10k driver
  •  802.11 MAC, PHY software/firmware/driver development
  •  hardware/firmware bring-up
  •  Qualcomm Atheros driver/firmware
  •  802.11s, QoS, rate control, traffic fairness
