Job description

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (could start as early as 6:00am) OR 1:30pm - 10:00pm

Pay: $19.50/HR

Duties:

  • Locate and select the correct wire and materials for each customer order
  • Operate wire cutting machinery to measure, cut, and prepare electrical wire to specifications
  • Use cordless hand tools and nail guns to secure wire onto spools
  • Set up and run production equipment efficiently and safely
  • Verify orders and ensure accuracy of cuts and quantities
  • Assist with occasional forklift operation to move materials as needed
  • Utilize internal systems and computers to track orders and production tasks
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate machinery and tools
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and nail guns
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems
  • Ability to work independently and use problem-solving and deductive reasoning
  • Previous warehouse, production, or machine operation experience preferred
  • Electrical supply or wire product knowledge is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
