Job Location: Corporate Headquarters - Waukesha, WI 53186. Position Type: Full Time. Education Level: 4 Year Degree. Job Shift: Day. Job Category: Sales. Help us GROW through Product Innovation and capturing market share in the aviation and defense industry.

A global products and services provider of aerospace and defense industry solutions, PIC Wire & Cable, an Angelus Company has developed a reputation as a customer focused, innovative, collaborative, and reliable industry resource.

As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be part of our GROWTH Sales team, identifying new customers and maintaining relationships with current customers. This position serves as the Voice of Customer, identifying and interpreting customer requirements and sharing them with our internal product management and engineering solutions teams.

Additional Responsibilities and Opportunities
  • Produce strategic plans for target customers, incorporating customer details and objectives.
  • Develop and grow relationships at target customers, performing cold calls when required.
  • Pro‑actively work with the internal execution team and the customer to successfully close opportunities.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of technical outside sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience / knowledge.
  • Familiarity with RF & ethernet cable technology and/or avionics systems and/or the Aerospace & Defense market.
  • Ability to travel domestically at a minimum 50% of the time; limited international travel.
  • Residentially located near an airport is required.

PIC Wire & Cable, an Angelus Company is headquartered in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Given the nature of the role and required travel, this position can be located anywhere within the continental US. Geographic proximity to an airport is required.
