Job Summary
The Business Banking and Treasury Implementation Specialist serves as the post-sale implementation and operational liaison delivering a concierge, "white-glove" experience to ensure seamless deployment of business account onboarding, documentation management and cross-functional workflow coordination of complex business banking and treasury management solutions. This role provides expertise in treasury management services including ACH Origination, Wire transfers, BillPay, Sweeps, Positive Pay, and Real-Time Payments (RTP). The Business Banking and Treasury Implementation Specialist ensures the accurate and timely setup of digital banking services, conducts business member training and maintains risk management and compliance according to the NCUA regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Treasury Operations, Lending, Underwriting, Compliance, and Member Service teams to ensure timely completion of business member onboarding and treasury product implementation activities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Treasury Management products and services, providing operational support to internal partners and business banking business members.
• Lead end-to-end technical implementations for advanced treasury management suites as the primary post-sale operational contact.
• Provide White-Glove Onboarding experience by building custom onboarding timelines, risk matrices, and file formatting tests for business members ACH and Positive Pay mapping.
• Lead high-touch, tailored training sessions via webinar or on-site Burbank-area visits to educate business members on using the Lumin Digital Banking Platform.
• Process business membership applications, review supporting documentation, manage eDocs workflows, and perform OnBase document imaging and record maintenance.
• Coordinate document collection and processing, including loan documentation, credit pulls, DocuSign packages, signature verification, and related business account records.
• Track and monitor business deposit and lending-related applications, coordinate follow-up activities with underwriting and lending partners, and assist in reducing application fallout by ensuring timely resolution of pending items.
• Support annual testing, system upgrades, user acceptance testing (UAT), new product rollouts, implementation activities, and operational readiness efforts for payment products and services.
• Partner closely with frontline Business Banking Sales officers to review signed agreements and dissect complex corporate entity structures.
• Investigate and resolve complex member service issues while maintaining defined service level expectations.
• Take ownership of member inquiries from initial contact through final resolution.
• Coordinate cross-functional resolution efforts with Sales, Information Technology, Fraud, Compliance, and Treasury Operations teams.
• Provide operational feedback and consultations to sales teams regarding custom capabilities or technical system constraints.
• Resolve outstanding onboarding and underwriting follow-up items within established turnaround times.
• Maintain regular communication with business members to provide implementation status updates to completion.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of treasury management, business banking operations, or commercial implementation experience in an asset-heavy financial institution (credit union experience exceeding $2 billion in total assets is preferred).
• Advanced Product Knowledge of business banking treasury products including ACH Origination, Wires, Positive Pay, Sweeps, Account Analysis, Remote Deposit Capture, Real Time Payments, Lockbox, and Integrated Payables and Receivables.
• Deep understanding of NCUA regulatory frameworks, Reg CC, Reg E, BSA/AML, and NACHA operating rules.
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) designations are highly preferred.
• Strong cross-collaborative skills; exceptional presentation capabilities to simplify advanced digital banking structures for business owners.
• Knowledge of NACHA operating rules, wire transfer procedures, fraud prevention controls, and treasury services operations.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, customer service orientation, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high accuracy standards.
Pay Range
$90,000.00 Annually to $110,000.00 Annually
