Overview
This position performs high risk, high volume, and large wire activities in a fast-paced environment. Wire activities include reviewing and processing of Inbound and Outbound wire transfers, including validating the authenticity of wire requests received from clients through various channels within strict time frames. Perform wire investigations inquiries including responding to service messages efficiently and precisely. Accuracy and attention to details are critical to this position.
Responsibilities
  • Perform Start of Day/End of Day Processes
  • Timely and accurate input and verification of outgoing wire transfers
  • OFAC review of incoming and outgoing wire transfers, which may include escalation to BSA/Compliance Department
  • Payment exception processing and investigation processing
  • Review, analyze, research service messages and investigation inquiry requests
  • Log and create investigation cases in Wire Case Management system with measured SLA's.
  • Customer service focus with the ability to respond to requests in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile wire requests to wire logs and supporting systems (FedLine, PAYplus USA or similar wire system, SWIFT & Test Key) reports and balances to the wire clearing accounts and General Ledgers
  • Understand and adhere to the Bank's policies and procedures
  • E-mail and telephone interaction with banking center personnel and internal departments to resolve payment transaction issues
  • Participate in UAT testing for all wire interfacing platforms
  • Perform other tasks and project as assigned

Qualifications
  • 10 key-by touch, typing 40-50 WPM with high accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, highly secured, and measured production environment, strong attention to detail and PC proficient.
  • Excellent verbal (telephone) & written communication skills (email) to interact with internal department and other banks.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Knowledge of SWIFT and Fundtech's PAYplus USA or similar system preferred.
  • Wire Transfer experienced required.
