Job Description

Job Title:           Mechanical Design Engineer

Duration:           12+ months (Possibility of Extension)

Role Summary: 

This position provides mechanical engineering/design of ultrasound components, assemblies, and production tooling. 

This includes mechanical design, Pro/E CAD modeling, detailed drawings, prototyping, V&V testing, engineering change orders, part specifications, and electronic product data management (ePDM).

This position supports cost reduction, quality and compliance, and new product development projects. 

Qualifications

BS in Mechanical Engineering

5 years relative work experience designing mechanical components and assemblies 

Experience with cables and harness, production tooling, injected molded plastics, labeling and packaging.

Experience with design for manufacturing principles

CAD modeling in ProE and AutoCAD

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills

Design for manufacturing experience
