Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking a System Administrator 2 to manage and troubleshoot computer systems and networking connectivity. The role involves ensuring the smooth operation of IT services, supporting users, and managing resources effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshooting of computer systems, networking/connectivity, audio visual equipment.
• Proficient use of Microsoft office systems.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint, documentation policies, and inventory management.
• Make decisions determining most critical response needs from received requests.
• Make decisions about scheduling of resources based on level of need and resources available.
• Implement software or hardware changes made to equipment in support of program or mission requirements.
• Occasional amount of lifting and bending is required, climbing ladders, working in small or high areas, use of tools typically associated with running cable, testing systems, or repairing computer or network equipment.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3-5 years of experience as a system admin and/or in a help desk role
• Must have a high school diploma
• Security+ required
• Troubleshooting of computer systems, networking/connectivity, audio visual equipment
• Proficient use of Microsoft office systems
• Working knowledge of SharePoint, documentation policies, and inventory management
• Employee should be able to lift 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Secret clearance is required
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• Post HS training in computers
• A+ certification
• NW+ certification
