Job description

  • Provide comprehensive L1/L2 technical support for a premier client
  • Maintain enterprise infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments
  • Manage Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Active Directory
  • Perform Linux system administration, shell scripting, and system maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and maintain server hardware
  • Troubleshoot networks, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN configuration
  • Support VMware vSphere and Hyperโ€‘V virtualization platforms
  • Perform backup and recovery operations
  • Manage patches and monitor security compliance
  • Monitor performance and optimize systems
  • Resolve and expand ITSM tickets
  • Provide advanced workstation software breakโ€‘fix support for Windows and Linux clients
  • Perform IMAC operations in enterprise environments
  • Image and deploy systems using SCCM, WDS, or similar tools
  • Manage asset lifecycle and inventory control
  • Support enterprise printers and peripherals, including network printers
  • Provide Client Center/Tech Bar technical support
  • Diagnose and replace hardware
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and manage cabling
  • Provide regular onsite support in Tempe, Arizona twice weekly, with additional remote support responsibilities

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in system administration or L1/L2 technical support
  • Handsโ€‘on experience with Windows Server environments and Active Directory
  • Working knowledge of Linux system administration and commandโ€‘line operations
  • Experience with VMware and Hyperโ€‘V virtualization technologies
  • Understanding of network troubleshooting and TCP/IP fundamentals
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems and ITSM processes
  • Knowledge of enterprise backup and recovery procedures
  • Understanding of change management and incident management frameworks
  • Strong documentation and technical communication skills
  • Must be within driving distance of Tempe, Arizona
  • Must be willing to work onsite when needed
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for server and equipment handling
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods in data center environments
  • Ability to work in server rooms and confined spaces, including underโ€‘floor cable management
  • Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for maintenance windows
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Preferred: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification
