Job Summary:
NTT DATA is a trusted global innovator of business and technology services, and they are seeking a highly experienced Windows Server Migration Specialist. The role involves leading the migration from Windows Server 2016 to Windows Server 2022, driving consolidation and optimization across on-premises and cloud environments, and delivering structured MIS reports to business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Windows Server Migration — Lead and execute the full migration lifecycle from Windows Server 2016 to Windows Server 2022, ensuring stability and compliance.
• Project Management — Own project planning, scheduling, RAID logs, governance, and end to end delivery for the migration program.
• Technical Implementation — Perform server builds, configuration, testing, validation, and cutover activities across hybrid environments.
• Infrastructure Consolidation — Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and optimize infrastructure across on prem and cloud platforms.
• Cloud Integration — Support Azure or hybrid cloud integration activities related to the migration.
• Performance Optimization — Analyze workloads and implement improvements to enhance performance and reliability.
• MIS Reporting — Prepare and deliver structured MIS reports summarizing progress, risks, dependencies, and key updates.
• Stakeholder Management — Coordinate with infrastructure, security, application teams, and business units to ensure alignment.
• Risk & Issue Management — Maintain risk registers, issue logs, and mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle.
