Job Summary:
The Window Service Technician is scheduled 15-20 services a week.

As a 1099 Window & Door Installer Crew, you will perform professional residential window and patio door installations that exceed customer expectations. Installers are expected to work independently, maintain high-quality standards, and complete projects efficiently and safely.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Install, replace, and repair windows and patio doors
  • Perform trim carpentry and frame carpentry for window and door openings
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry techniques with precision
  • Measure, cut, and install glass components as needed
  • Apply caulking and sealing with strong attention to detail
  • Safely handle heavy lifting and movement of large window units and patio doors
  • Wrap window trim using aluminum trim coil and a metal brake
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site
  • Complete additional duties as assigned


Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven experience in window installation, door installation, glass installation, or residential construction
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, remodeling practices, and installation techniques
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
  • Experience with trim carpentry and remodeling projects
  • Ability to safely perform heavy lifting and physical work
  • Experience using a metal brake to wrap exterior trim with aluminum coil
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Commitment to craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer satisfaction

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three years of related experience or comparable training preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically able to inspect a building by climbing ladders, kneeling, and crawling.
  • Physically able to install or repair windows and materials.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
