Window World of Greater Columbus is seeking a dependable, skilled, and customer-focused Service Technician to join our growing team.
The Service Technician is responsible for completing service and warranty work on previously installed windows and doors. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to provide an excellent experience for our customers.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can diagnose problems efficiently, and represents Window World professionally while working in customers' homes.
Responsibilities
  • Perform service and warranty work on residential replacement windows and doors
  • Diagnose issues with windows, doors, hardware, locks, balances, weatherstripping, glass, screens, and other components
  • Make adjustments and repairs to ensure products operate properly
  • Replace defective or damaged parts as necessary
  • Inspect installations and identify the cause of customer concerns
  • Clearly explain repairs and service work to homeowners
  • Complete service paperwork and accurately document work performed
  • Take photos and provide documentation when required
  • Maintain an organized and properly stocked service vehicle
  • Keep tools, equipment, and company property in good condition
  • Communicate with the office regarding parts, additional work, and follow-up service needs
  • Maintain a clean work area and respect customers' homes and property
  • Follow company procedures and safety standards
  • Provide professional, courteous customer service at all times
Qualifications
  • Previous experience with window and door installation, service, carpentry, construction, or residential remodeling preferred
