                                  Window Service Manager

What You’ll Do

As a Window Service Manager, you will provide leadership to the Service Department and manage all aspects of department operations. You will focus on promoting business growth through effective training and the meticulous coordination of service work and installations. You will act as a primary connection between builders, vendors, and your technical team to ensure all service requests are executed accurately and in a timely manner.

Leadership & Staff Development

  • Coach, teach, and train employees on proper Service Department processes to ensure high performance.
  • Supervise Window Service Technicians and lead training for new employees and Service Coordinators.
  • Foster a supportive, team-oriented culture where staff members can grow and build rewarding careers.
  • Act as a store representative, providing professional service and modeling company values in every interaction.

Service Coordination & Project Management

  • Manage all incoming service requests to ensure they are processed and completed efficiently.
  • Coordinate and schedule screen installations and service work directly with production builders.
  • Participate in job site visits to oversee quality and provide direct support where needed.
  • Coordinate 3rd party service labor and handle department transfers between locations.
  • Work with outside vendors to capture reimbursements and order necessary parts or stock inventory.

Operations & Inventory Oversight

  • Manage service vehicles to ensure all preventative maintenance and repairs are completed on time.
  • Oversee inventory by assisting in the proper receiving of inbound products and replenishing stock.
  • Collaborate with the yard team to establish cleanliness and organization of products.
  • Provide operational support to the yard and location as daily needs arise to ensure smooth store operations.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow and enforce all safety rules and policies as outlined in the employee handbook and safety manual.
  • Report accidents and workplace injuries immediately to management.
  • Protect company values by maintaining the strict confidentiality of financial information and business plans.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or Vice President to support the organization.

Qualifications

  • Leadership: Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on coaching and teaching staff.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage complex service requests, inventory, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel to all locations and job sites as needed for training and support (up to 25% of time).
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs. and perform occasional standing, walking, and bending.
  • Screening: Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
