Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs ourย Oncology Registered Nurse (RN), you will helpย cancer patients and their familiesย receive exceptional, compassionate, patient-centered careย so they canย achieve positive cancer treatment outcomes and navigate their journey with support.
Everyday you willย provide specialized oncology nursing care. You will be expected toย maximize patient satisfaction, empower patients and families, and advocate for their needs.
To be successful in this role, you mustย possess robust oncology clinical knowledge, technological proficiency, genuine compassion, strong communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Responsibilities:ย
- Daily, you'll conduct comprehensiveย oncology patient assessments, perform criticalย risk evaluations, provide essentialย cancer prevention education, and expertly coordinate complexย cancer care plans.
- Your responsibilities include patient/family orientation, continuous care plan adaptation based on growth and developmental needs, and leveraging technology for stream-lined processes, ensuring optimalย patient supportย and understanding.
Job RequirementsRequired:
- One (1) year of experience in the area of specialty. Please note: We are currently unable to train RNs without a minimum of six (6) months of acute care experience; new graduates are not eligible.
- Current California RN Licenseย
- AHA-BLS (American Heart Association - Basic Life Support)
