Job description

Job Title: Wilderness Driver, Parking Garage Attendant
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.
Shift Opportunities: Seasonal
Job Summary:
The Broadmoor is committed to creating a culture of family and community while simultaneously providing a genuine, unforgettable experience for our guests and team. This role will play a key part in continuing to uphold our reputation and providing exceptional service to our guests.
As a member of the Parking Garage team, this position is a driving position and is responsible to drive vehicles in a safe, professional, and courteous manner, obeying traffic laws, adhering to hotel policies and complying with all regulations. Transport guests, staff, luggage, and other items as assigned. Work closely with Guest Services, Loss Prevention, as well as Cloud Camp and Emerald Valley Ranch teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet and Transport guests and employees to and from Emerald Valley Ranch, Cloud Camp, and other locations as assigned.
  • Transport and deliver luggage or other items to and from designated locations and assist guests with handling.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip safety inspection of assigned vehicles and always drive in a safe, professional and courteous manner; keep vehicle fueled as directed.
  • Wash, clean, inspect and maintain vehicles on a regular basis and assist with cleanliness of all work facilities.
  • Complete appropriate paperwork and records as assigned.
  • Successfully complete Broadmoor Wilderness Driver training as well as CPR and First Aid.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members using radios and earpieces.
  • Well-versed in Broadmoor Wilderness properties to include Cloud Camp and Emerald Valley Ranch, including all emergency training for Wilderness properties.
  • Well-versed in Broadmoor hotel features and history, as well as local area.
  • Report any accidents or damage immediately to a vehicle to the GS Director, GS Supervisor and Loss Prevention.
  • Assist with minor maintenance or adjustments as required.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

What we are looking for:
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree, preferably with one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a high-quality restaurant environment a plus.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License preferred in order to assist with driving shuttles or transporting guests as needed.
    • Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs. with assistance) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.
