Job description

We are currently seeking to hire a System Engineer to become an integral part of our installation team! You will help design and install copper and fiber optic network cabling,ย  telephone systems, overhead paging systems, and WiFi network deployments. You will also provide onsite and remote systems support to customers.
Responsibilities:

  • Help design and install cabling, telephone systems, paging systems, and WiFi deployments
  • Document all installation tasks and procedures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues
  • Provide sales engineering support to Allstarโ€™s sales team
  • Acquire and maintain training, certifications and credentials necessary to install and support the products and services we provide
  • Follow documented instructions and guidelines to perform job functions
  • Provide excellent service to customers
Qualifications:

  • Previous experience or formal training in telecommunications or related fields
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Knowledge of commonly-used telecommunications concepts, practices and procedures
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening
