Description of DutiesTitle: Wholesale PlannerClassification: ExemptHourly Range*: $85,000-$95,000Schedule*: Hybrid, Monday through Friday, 9:00AM-5:30PM (in office a minimum of 3 days/week currently Monday, Tuesday, Thursday but subject to change based on the needs of the business) OR Remote in NYCReports to: VP of Buying & Planning

We are seeking a Wholesale Planner to own and drive the financial and inventory strategy for our wholesale business in partnership with the key stakeholders in Wholesale Sales. This role will be responsible for developing sales and inventory plans, analyzing performance, and partnering closely with Sales, Wholesale Operations, Buying and Merchandising to support sustainable, profitable growth.

As one of the first dedicated planning roles on the team, this position offers a unique opportunity to help build and refine planning processes, reporting, and tools. This will improve data visibility and enable more informed decision-making across the wholesale business in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. The Wholesale Planner will work closely with the DTC Planner and report into the VP of Buying & Planning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain seasonal and monthly sales, inventory, and margin plans for the wholesale channel
  • Analyze weekly and monthly performance, identifying risks and opportunities and recommending actionable strategies
  • Partner with the Sales team to align on account-level forecasts, order pacing, and replenishment opportunities and risk.
  • Collaborate with Wholesale Operations to ensure inventory flow supports order fulfillment and timing requirements; quantify financial and inventory risk around these deliverables.
  • Manage wholesale inventory position, ensuring healthy stock levels across key styles and partners
  • Partner with Wholesale Sales during and after market in the projections process to adjust OTB and inventory targets by delivery based on actualized orders received.
  • Support monthly re-forecasting and scenario planning to adapt to changing business trends; maintaining and fine-tuning the revenue forecast tool; partnering with Wholesale Sales to deliver an accurate forecast at the close of each month.
  • Build and maintain reporting tools and dashboards, improving visibility and usability of wholesale data
  • Partner cross-functionally to enhance reporting, planning tools, and system or platform capabilities, driving greater data clarity and accessibility
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of wholesale data, proactively troubleshooting discrepancies and strengthening data integrity
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of planning processes, tools, and best practices as the function grows
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and strategic projects to support overall business objectives
  • Help ensure the assortment hits margin and revenue goals when planning season buys.

Skills and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in wholesale merchandise planning, buying, or a related analytical role
  • Experience supporting or partnering with wholesale businesses strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a hands-on approach
  • Collaborative mindset with strong cross-functional communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with planning or ERP systems a plus
Physical Requirements
