Wet Process Engineer (Evergreen)

Micron Technology is hiring a Wet Process Engineer to lead the start‑up, development, and optimization of wet etch processes for DRAM production. The role focuses on improving product quality, yield, cost, and productivity while resolving manufacturing line issues.

Responsibilities
  • Strong process area knowledge
  • DRAM development and manufacturing experience
  • Collaborate with equipment and integration engineers to identify and resolve production‑impacting issues
  • Use project management skills to complete milestones that close gaps in yield, defectivity, production, and cost
  • Drive improvements across all SPC charts that you own
Minimum Required Qualifications
  • MS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics, or BS with 2+ years in semiconductor industry experience as a wet etch process owner (vapor etch, dry strip, dry bevel etch, Cu plating, and conventional bath and spin processes)
  • Good understanding of Agentic AI or willingness to learn it to develop efficient workflows
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficient in data science and programming
