POSITION SUMMARY 

Greensboro Radiology is seeking a part-time Remote Emergency Radiologist to join our practice. We offer several overnight and late-night scheduling options, including:

  • 3:00 PM-12:00 AM shifts
  • 5:00 PM-2:00 AM shifts
  • 7:00 PM-4:00 AM shifts

Highlights Include:

  • Commencement Bonus ?

  • Shifts ending earlier than many traditional nighthawk practices (2:00 AM and 4:00 AM options available)
  • Collaborative workflow with multiple radiologists reading from the same worklist

  • Dedicated ancillary staff available throughout the day and night to communicate with referring physicians
  •  Neuro MRI and CTA interpreted concurrently by dedicated Neuroradiology coverage

Greensboro Radiology is a highly subspecialized private practice group with 55+ radiologists providing patient care to multiple health systems and outpatient imaging centers throughout central North Carolina. We are committed to delivering high-quality, efficient, and consistent service across our region, supported by a fully integrated enterprise imaging platform with a unified PACS and voice recognition system that seamlessly connects all of our practice locations.

HOSPITAL OVERVIEW


The Greensboro-based practice provides imaging services for several hospitals, including Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, a 500+ bed tertiary care center serving the greater Greensboro region that is home to

a Level II Trauma Center and a certified stroke center; Wesley Long Hospital, a 175-bed hospital offering comprehensive medical and surgical services; Alamance Regional Medical Center, a 200+ bed

community hospital serving Burlington and the surrounding area and a designated stroke center; and Annie Penn Hospital. The practice also supports multiple outpatient imaging and procedural centers throughout the region, providing patients with convenient access to high-quality

diagnostic and interventional care.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
  • Residency Trained, ACGME Accredited Diagnostic Radiology Program
  • Fellowship Training in Emergency Radiology is a plus
  • ABR board-certified / board-eligible
  • Licensed or ability to obtain license in State of North Carolina

COMPENSATION

The range for this position is $250,000k-$900,000k with the opportunity to earn more through productivity incentives. Final compensation determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc.
