JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Senior Benefits and Wellness Director, the Benefits and Wellness Coordinator supports the delivery of a seamless, engaging, and compliant benefits and wellness experience for Cavaliers Holdings, LLC Team Members. This role plays a key part in administering core benefit programs, driving wellness initiatives, and enhancing employee engagement through effective communication and program execution. The Benefits and Wellness Coordinator serves as a trusted resource to Team Members and handles sensitive information with a high level of discretion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the accurate and timely administration of company benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life, LTD, and 401(k).
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Team Member benefit inquiries; troubleshoot claims and coverage issues and escalate complex matters as needed.
  • Partner with carriers and brokers to maintain and update benefit education materials, including guides, FAQs, and intranet content.
  • Guide new benefit-eligible Team Members through benefit offerings and enrollment decisions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of enrollments, qualifying life events, and terminations.
  • Maintain and audit benefit data in Dayforce (HCM), including payroll deductions, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support Open Enrollment planning and execution, including communications, employee education sessions, and enrollment tracking.
  • Maintain working knowledge of applicable regulations (COBRA, ACA, FMLA, ERISA) and support compliance activities, audits, and reporting as needed.
  • Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's wellness program, aligning initiatives with organizational goals and culture.
  • Drive awareness and participation in wellness initiatives through creative programming, challenges, and events (e.g., Health & Wellness Fair, BeWell Breaks).
  • Partner with carriers and wellness vendors to evaluate program effectiveness using data and participation metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience by integrating wellness into daily work life.
  • Provide recommendations on wellness initiatives, engagement strategies, and program investments.
  • Support Team Member engagement initiatives, including social events, recognition efforts, and milestone programs (e.g., Family Day, Holiday Party, Milestone Trips).
  • Serve as a liaison to Team Member Resource Groups, helping coordinate programming and communications.
  • Develop and manage communications related to benefits, wellness, and People & Culture initiatives across multiple channels (email, presentations, intranet, print).
  • Ensure communications are clear, engaging, and aligned with company branding and culture.
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields include Human Resources, Communications, Health Promotion, Nutrition, or related areas.
  • 2-3 years of experience in benefits administration, wellness program coordination, or a related HR function.
  • Experience working within a Human Resources or People & Culture team preferred.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and wellness program compliance guidelines preferred.
  • Working knowledge of benefits administration and relevant regulations (COBRA, ACA, FMLA, ERISA).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and use insights to improve programs and engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with HCM systems (Dayforce preferred).
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrates a proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused approach to work.
