Contract Length: 18 months
Pay Rate: $58/hr - $62/hr

Job Summary
In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning within Business Execution. This role is responsible for leading strategic release management and delivery initiatives supporting Digital Wallet programs and Virtual Card Program (VCP) capabilities. The successful candidate will serve as the primary release management lead, coordinating quarterly releases, driving execution across multiple teams, managing dependencies and risks, and serving as a trusted partner across Product, Technology, Operations, and external payment network partners. This role requires a highly organized execution leader with strong Commercial Card industry expertise and experience successfully leading large, cross-functional initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Project and Release Management experience supporting complex technology and product initiatives.
  • Strong Commercial Card and Payments industry knowledge.
  • Exceptional Stakeholder Management and Communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating quarterly software or product release cycles.
  • Experience working across Product, Technology, Operations, and external vendor organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Virtual Card Program (VCP) experience.
  • Digital Wallet experience.
  • Visa or Mastercard commercial payments experience.
  • Agile delivery experience.
  • Jira or Azure DevOps experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate browser-based, desktop, and mobile application releases.
  • Maintain detailed release schedules, milestones, and readiness plans.
  • Facilitate release planning, testing coordination, and deployment readiness activities.
  • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives and strategic priorities.
  • Create and maintain project plans, risk logs, issue logs, dependency trackers, and status reporting.
  • Drive initiatives from planning through implementation and post-launch support.
  • Support Commercial Card Programs, Digital Wallet Initiatives, and Virtual Card Programs.
  • Partner with product teams on backlog planning, prioritization, and dependency management.
  • Ensure Jira standards, templates, workflows, and governance requirements are followed.
  • Partner with Product Teams, Technology Teams, Operations Teams, Risk & Compliance Groups, and external vendors.
  • Prepare leadership updates and executive reporting.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Promote Agile best practices and develop process improvement recommendations.
