Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistantย to join our pediatric therapy practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This key role involves overseeing and managing the home health therapy services for our pediatric clients, ensuring the highest quality of care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to provide personalized care plans for patients in the comfort of their homes.

As a Physical Therapist, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team that collaborates closely with ABA, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy professionals to provide comprehensive care for children with developmental delays, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role is focused on helping children ages 0-21 reach their full potential with the possibility overseeing Physical Therapy Assistant and their unique caseload.


Job Duties:

  • Perform direct physical therapy services for a caseload of patients.
  • Conduct initial assessments of patients to create individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • Coordinate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet developmental milestones.
  • Employ a variety of instructional techniques to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with other therapists and the clientโ€™s family to implement strategies for effective treatment.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies and compliance standards.
  • Physical Therapists will potentially supervise and mentor a PTA per Medicare home health standards which includes direct treatment of the assistantโ€™s caseload intermittently and completion of required comprehensive assessments and evaluations as required.
  • Assist with case management and documentation in line with company policies.

Job Requirements:

  • Masterโ€™s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • ย  ย or Licensed PTA
  • Valid Colorado state licensure (or pending) as a Physical Therapist.
  • BLS CPR Certification.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Professional Liability Insurance.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Experience with in-home therapy.
  • Pediatric experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with EMR Software, preferably KanTime.
