About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at the Veterinary Urgent and Wellcare Center of Plainville as an Associate Veterinarian! In this exciting role, you will provide compassionate care to our patients while collaborating with a dedicated team in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose animal health issues.
  • Perform surgeries and medical procedures with precision and care.
  • Administer vaccinations and preventative care treatments.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners about treatment options and care plans.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Stay current with veterinary advancements and best practices.
  • Participate in after-hours emergency care as needed.
Requirements:
  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid veterinary license in the state of Connecticut.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with both urgent care and routine wellness services is a plus.
