Wellbeing Consultants often encounter challenges such as varying levels of employee engagement, differing organizational cultures, and resistance to change when implementing new wellbeing initiatives. Navigating these differences requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to tailor programs to fit each organization's unique needs. Building trust with both leadership and staff is crucial for the successful adoption of wellbeing strategies, making relationship-building a key part of the role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Wellbeing Consultant, and why are they important?

Familiarity with assessment tools, wellness program platforms, and data analysis software is typically essential. Strong interpersonal skills, active listening, and the ability to motivate and educate clients help set top consultants apart. These competencies enable Wellbeing Consultants to effectively design, implement, and evaluate programs that enhance individual and organizational health outcomes.

Job description

Position Title: Lead, Alliances - Consultants

Location: US remote

Position Type: Regular, Full-Time

Who we are:

Roundglass is a wholistic wellbeing company working to empower healthier lives, stronger communities, and a more sustainable world. That w in wholistic is intentional: we believe true wellbeing spans the whole human experience—from how we care for ourselves to how we connect with others and the planet.

Roundglass creates impact through two core pillars:

Roundglass Living delivers personalized, science-backed wellbeing guidance through our digital platform, helping people build healthier habits through breathwork, meditation, movement, nutrition, music, and more.

Roundglass Giving is our nonprofit arm, advancing initiatives focused on youth development, women's empowerment, and environmental sustainability. Through these efforts, we're working to create meaningful, lasting change in communities around the world.

At Roundglass, we're united by a shared purpose: making wellbeing accessible and actionable for everyone. If you're passionate about creating meaningful impact while helping organizations improve the wellbeing of their people, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role:

As the Lead, Alliances – Consultants, you will partner closely with the US Partnerships & Alliances Leader to develop and grow our strategic consultant and broker partnership ecosystem across the benefits, health, and wellbeing industry.

This role is one of two Alliance Lead positions. While this position focuses primarily on consultants and benefits brokers, the second role partners with health plans, TPAs, resellers, and other distribution channels. Together, these roles will help expand access to Roundglass Living by enabling a scalable, partner-led go-to-market strategy across workplaces, education, sports, and nonprofit organizations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working alongside benefits consultants and brokers who enjoys building trusted relationships, influencing stakeholders, and driving business growth through strategic partnerships.

Success in this role requires balancing strategic relationship management with hands-on execution. You'll identify and develop partnership opportunities, manage a pipeline of consultant and broker relationships, present the value of Roundglass Living, support joint sales efforts, and help partners successfully position our solutions in the market. You'll also collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Leadership teams to strengthen our partner ecosystem and accelerate growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Build, develop, and maintain trusted relationships with consultants, brokers, and key industry influencers.
  • Conduct partner education sessions, product demonstrations, webinars, and in-person events to increase awareness and engagement.
  • Maintain an active market presence by regularly engaging partners across key regions in the United States.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities, buying signals, and market insights to generate qualified opportunities for the Roundglass Living sales organization.
  • Educate partners on Roundglass Living's solutions, product enhancements, pricing strategy, and competitive differentiation.
  • Support consultant and broker engagement throughout employer RFP and evaluation processes by providing strategic guidance and product expertise.
  • Generate opportunities through consultant and broker relationships and collaborate with internal sales teams to advance deals through the sales cycle.
  • Gather market intelligence, including competitive insights, customer feedback, pricing trends, and buyer expectations, and share recommendations with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver partner enablement programs, training, messaging, and joint go-to-market initiatives that enable partners to independently promote and position Roundglass Living.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Content teams to develop and execute partnership strategies.
  • Track partnership activity, pipeline performance, and key business metrics, providing regular reporting and insights to leadership.

Skills & Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6–8+ years of experience in healthcare benefits, employee wellbeing, consulting, navigation solutions, or a related industry.
  • Experience working directly with benefits consultants, brokers, or similar channel partners to position or sell employer-focused healthcare or wellbeing solutions.
  • Demonstrated success building strategic partnerships that generate measurable business growth and qualified pipeline.
  • Strong understanding of consultant, broker, and channel partnership models, including sell-through, sell-with, and referral-based engagement strategies.
  • Experience presenting complex products and value propositions to senior business stakeholders and external partners.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with digital health, employee wellbeing, benefits technology, or HR technology solutions.
  • Experience designing and delivering partner enablement programs, training, or joint go-to-market initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success driving demand generation through alliances, account-based marketing (ABM), co-selling, or joint marketing programs.
  • Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and working collaboratively with legal, product, and commercial teams.
  • Familiarity with employer benefits buying cycles, consultant-led sales processes, and RFP-driven procurement.
  • Passion for improving health, wellbeing, and workplace outcomes through innovative partnerships.

Pay & Benefits:

The target base pay for this role is $200,000 yearly, plus variable incentives. Compensation offered will be determined by level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for comprehensive benefits, 401k, and time off.
