$16.75/hr to start, eligible for raise and benefits once hired on.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Machine Tender to join a dynamic team in Berea, OH. As a Machine Tender, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our machinery during the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, the capacity to learn from experienced machine tenders, and the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Machine Operation: Monitor machinery to ensure smooth production processes. Recognize defects and address them as necessary by alerting the set-up operator to maintain product quality and machine performance.
  • Maintenance: Report any major issues to Machine Set-up personnel.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality and conformity to specifications. Identify and address any defects or irregularities promptly.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine performance, production output, and any incidents or maintenance activities. Report any anomalies or issues to the shift supervisor.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors to ensure seamless production processes. Communicate effectively to address any issues or changes in production schedules.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in machinery or manufacturing is a plus.
