Responsibilities

  • Move/shift company trailers within a defined area.
  • Adhere to and follow companyestablished safety rules and procedures.
  • Follow and execute company-established safe/defensive driving methods.
  • Operate shunt truck to move trailers within the yard
  • Communicate with shipping personnel to ensure efficient movement of trailers
  • Report any issues or damages to trailers
  • Trailer Wash & Tire repair would be part of the role with minimal repairs.
  • Must be able to able to lift 50 pounds.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment and staying longer than the usual shift hours depending on the operational needs and package shipment volume.
  • A minimum of 6 months year experience.
  • A good driving record.
