As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your role will encompass a variety of important tasks aimed at supporting patients’ mental health and substance recovery:

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their individual mental health needs, using a combination of structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and solution-oriented interventions to address each client’s unique challenges.
• Implement therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting your approach as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
• Maintain meticulous and compliant clinical records, ensuring all documentation meets legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide coordinated care and address all aspects of patient health.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health resources and strategies for navigating the substance recovery process.
• Stay abreast of the latest research in addiction and mental health, integrating new knowledge into practice for optimal treatment outcomes.
• Manage a full caseload efficiently, setting and meeting treatment goals while upholding the highest ethical standards of practice.

You will work primarily with a diverse population of individuals battling various substance abuse disorders. Our patients come from varied backgrounds, offering a rich tapestry of experiences and challenges that require a compassionate and individualized approach to treatment. Your role is critical in providing them with the necessary tools and support to achieve lasting recovery and improved mental health.

To succeed in this role, candidates must fulfill the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in Massachusetts.
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, particularly in the realm of substance abuse therapy.
• Familiarity with solution-focused interventions and therapeutic modalities.
• Demonstrated excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following areas:

• Previous work in a substance abuse treatment facility or related mental health setting.
• Experience with telehealth tools and remote therapy practices.
