Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized psychotherapy to clients facing mental health issues in the context of substance abuse treatment.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans using evidence-based, solution-focused interventions.
  • Implement therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate recovery and coping strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive and compliant clinical records in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients.
  • Educate patients and their families on mental health and substance abuse resources to promote recovery and prevent relapse.
  • Continuously update your knowledge on the latest research and best practices in substance abuse therapy and integrate those insights into your clinical practice.
  • Manage a diverse caseload efficiently, meeting individual treatment goals while adhering to ethical standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals from various backgrounds contending with substance use disorders and related mental health concerns. You will provide support to clients at different stages of recovery, employing customized approaches that resonate with their unique experiences and challenges. Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active LCSW license in the state of Texas.
  • A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, specifically focused on substance abuse therapy.
  • Strong understanding and application of solution-based interventions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to teamwork.
Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is 1 year of experience, candidates with additional experience in therapeutic interventions related to substance abuse or mental health crises will be highly regarded. A background in utilizing specific modalities such as trauma-informed care or motivational interviewing will enhance your candidacy.
