What are the main responsibilities of a welding supervisor?

A Welding Supervisor oversees welding operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specified standards. Their duties typically include supervising welders and welding processes, inspecting weld quality, maintaining equipment, enforcing safety procedures, and ensuring compliance with codes and regulations. They also play a key role in training staff, managing workflow, and troubleshooting welding issues as they arise.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a welding supervisor?

To thrive as a Welding Supervisor, you need in-depth knowledge of welding techniques, safety standards, and quality control, typically supported by a welding certification and supervisory experience.
