The Welding Technician III is a senior-level position responsible for leading complex welding projects, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring the highest quality standards. This role requires expert knowledge of welding techniques and the ability to handle challenging tasks with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform expert-level welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and arc welding equipment.
  • Lead the preparation and set-up of welding projects, ensuring optimal workflow.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections and non-destructive testing to verify weld quality.
  • Perform maintenance and advanced troubleshooting of welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret intricate blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Mentor and train Welding Technician I and II personnel, sharing best practices and expertise.
  • Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
Requirements:

Qualifications
