TIG Welder (With MIG Welding Experience)

Location: Decatur, Texas
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder with some MIG welding experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience fabricating, fitting, and welding a variety of metal components while maintaining high-quality standards and attention to detail. This position requires the ability to read blueprints, work independently, and produce clean, precise welds.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel components.
  • Utilize MIG welding as needed for fabrication and production projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting parts before welding.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Operate welding equipment and related fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience preferred.
  • Some MIG welding experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
  • Experience working with stainless steel and aluminum is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
