Job description

We are urgently seeking skilled Welders and Fire Watchers to join our team at dynamic field and construction sites. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in structural welding, a keen eye for safety, and a dedication to producing high-quality workmanship. This role requires individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and work well both independently and as part of small crews.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural welding on steel beams, columns, frames, plates, and other components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment including MIG welding.
  • Execute fillet and groove welds in multiple positions with quality and penetration.
  • Fit, tack, align, and weld structural steel components according to specifications.
  • Inspect completed welds for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain adherence to all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after tasks.
  • Provide fire watch services to ensure safe welding environments and prevent hazards.
  • Collaborate effectively with small crew members and work independently when necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in structural welding.
  • Technical certification in welding or related field.
  • Certified Welder designation (e.g., AWS certification).
