Position Overview:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Brand Strategy & Integrated Marketing, this role is part of the broader central marketing team and responsible for the stewardship of all Canada Goose brand social channels at a global scale. Working cross-functionally with key stakeholders from across the business, in addition to external agency partners, the Social Media Manager will oversee the planningand implementation of strategic social media programming in support of the global measurement and KPI framework. This position requires a strong depth of knowledge andexpertiseworking across all key brand social media channels andis able totranslate brand, commercial, and communityobjectivesinto actionable plans that puts the consumer first. The role understands the interplay of brand and consumer connections across social and how this relationship is unique to each channel. This position requires a passion for creating highly engaging content and a thorough understanding in how to measure its effectiveness through data,insightsand reporting.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead a MarketingSpecialistin translating brand and marketingobjectivesinto strategic channel plans that align to the Canada Goose brand architecture andestablishedsocial media playbook

  • Support Canada Goose's growth across primary and secondary channels, while exploring expansion channels based on brand and consumer opportunity

  • Coach and developone(1) direct report in their career progression, including ownership over all formal review processes and feedback

  • Manage external agency partner in the ongoing implementation of the CG social mediaplaybook andsupport Brand team in the development of campaign strategies as it relates to social media requirements

  • Work cross functionally with all marketing lanes, digital,ecomm, and regional teams in providingtheappropriate levelofboth proactive and reactivesupport across brand social channels

  • Oversee global editorial calendar and work closely with key regional social stakeholders to ensure regional content is accounted for

  • Oversee creativebrief forglobal content for all social media channels (video,imageryand copy) with internal, freelance and / or agency partners

  • Manage the ongoing reporting, measurement and insights of all social media channels andtranslatethese insights intosenior-level share outs

  • Manage the budgetallocatedto the creation and execution of each social media campaign, leading financial forecasts, tracking and reporting to ensure financialobjectivesare met

  • Proactively contribute creative marketing ideas for social media initiatives and special projects

Let's Talk About You:

  • 6+ years marketing and socialexpertise, preferably for a global organization.

  • Deep knowledge of all social platforms that Canada Gooseparticipatesin

  • Ideally has experience in the entertainment or apparel industry or with a strong understanding of the industry and with diverse backgrounds

  • Excellentunderstanding and interest in the major social media platforms and their best practices, includingTiktok, Instagram,Reddit, YouTube,Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest,as well as Line,Wechat, Weibo, Little Red Book.

  • Strong project ownership with confidence in championing a project from A to Z

  • Epic organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once without breaking a sweat

  • Leadership, strategic thinking, analytical and project management skills

  • Strong agency leadership and management skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with external partners throughout all phases of projects.

  • Have finger on the pulse of global trends in both luxury & fast fashion and have as strong passion for culture across all pillars - art, music, fashion,gamingand tech.

  • Solution oriented with a focus on delivering a consumer centric approach
