Job description

Overview

At Flanigan's, we strive to bring together warm, caring, friendly, outgoing people, who find joy in serving others. 

Responsibilities
  • Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and  procedural training
  • Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed
  • Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests' questions verbally and clearly                           
  • Accurately enter orders into POS system
  • Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner                          
  • Collect guests' payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
  • Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework                            
  • Pack and verfy all ToGo orders with guest
  • Greet guests at the curbside pickup area                        
Qualifications
  • Can physically stand/walk 100% of shift                         
  • Can reach, bend, stoop frequently                         
  • Able to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to speak, read and write English                        
  • Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc                         
  • Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes                    
  • Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Work in a fast paced environment
