Position at Jackson Family Wines
Jackson Family Wines - McMinnville is a state-of-the-art, medium-sized winery situated in the heart of the Willamette Valley. Committed to the pursuit of winemaking excellence, we specialize in crafting ultra-premium Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Sparkling Wines sourced from our LIVE-certified estates across the region. Our portfolio includes wines for renowned brands such as La Crema, Big Salt, Siduri Wines, as well as a selection of luxury custom crush clients.
We are in search of diverse, passionate, and enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic team for the upcoming 2026 harvest season. As a member of our harvest team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our full-time winemaking team, contributing to every facet of the harvest process. Whether you're embarking on your first harvest or bring seasoned expertise to the table, we strive to cultivate a fun, inclusive, and educational environment where all our team members can thrive and grow.
Our winery is conveniently located just outside of McMinnville, Oregon, approximately one hour southwest of Portland.
POSITION SUMMARY:
We're looking for help in our cellar with our upcoming 2026 Harvest! Under the general direction of the cellar manager and winemaking staff, this position will be involved in the following duties:
  • Forklifting - unloading and loading fruit, safely driving barrels
  • Harvest duties - sorting, destemming, pressing, etc.
  • Additions - yeast, acid, nutrients, etc.
  • Barrel work - cleaning, steaming, filling, emptying, and topping
  • Tank work - racking, transferring/blending both juice and wine
  • Sampling - obtain grape, juice, and/or wine samples
  • Bottling - help with bottling if need arises
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor and other staff
  • Cleaning of both equipment and facility
  • Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment and have a sense of pride in your work. Previous harvest and beverage production experience is desired but not required. Some forklift experience is highly desired. Must be able to work varying shifts and overtime, including weekends, as needed, particularly during the peak of the harvest season. Must be able to communicate in English effectively. Must be able to work in the US and have legal transportation. A great attitude and passion for beverages goes a long way!
WAGE TRANSPARENCY:
The base pay for this role ranges from $21.00-$25.00 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
