Job description

Description
Rack & Riddle, the #1 custom sparkling wine producer in the United States, is hiring Bottling Line Technicians at multiple levels to join our production team.
In this role, you will be involved in all phases of bottling line operations-from setup and changeovers to active production and cleanup-across a variety of lines including tirage, disgorging, Charmat, canning, and still wine.
Technicians rotate through key functions on the line such as inspection, hand packing, stacking, rework, and equipment operation, while working collaboratively to meet daily production goals. Depending on experience level, you may also operate and troubleshoot bottling equipment, support line optimization during changeovers, and assist with training team members.
All technicians are expected to maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency, adhere to company SOPs, and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized production environment. This is a great opportunity for individuals at any stage of their career to build skills and grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Technician Levels
We are hiring across multiple experience levels. Placement will depend on experience and skill set:
General Line Technician (Entry-Level)
  • Performs basic production tasks under close supervision
  • Supports line setup, hand packing, inspection, and rework activities
  • Gains exposure to multiple areas of the bottling process

Skilled Line Technician (Mid-Level)
  • Operates and troubleshoots bottling line equipment
  • Assists with changeovers and helps optimize line efficiency
  • Supports training of less experienced team members

Advanced Line Technician (Senior-Level)
  • Operates all major equipment and leads complex line operations
  • Troubleshoots equipment issues and partners with Maintenance/QC
  • Provides leadership on the line and may act as backup lead
  • Supports training and development of team members

What We're Looking For
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while following all safety practices, SOPs, and company policies
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong team-oriented work ethic
• Willingness to learn, adapt to changing production needs, and take on a variety of tasks across bottling lines
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs., work at heights (up to 25 ft.), and perform physically demanding tasks
• Comfortable working overtime, nights, and/or weekends as needed
• Basic math skills and ability to understand and respond to equipment or production instructions (Skilled & Advanced Tech roles)
• Mechanical aptitude or ability to learn bottling line equipment and troubleshoot issues (level-dependent) (Skilled & Advanced Tech roles)
• Previous bottling or production experience is a plus, with increasing levels of experience required for higher-level roles
