Job description

Overview/ Job Responsibilities
Entarian is looking for a Window Systems Administrator. The selected candidate will accomplish the following:
  • Administers, develops, runs tests on, implements, and maintains the Windows operating system and related software.
  • Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, and networking problems.
  • Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and, when necessary, performs data recoveries.
  • Recommends hardware and software upgrades according to growth statistics and disk space forecasts.
  • Schedules, plans, and performs system upgrades, including coordinating the transition from test to production environments.
  • Schedules tasks using software support tools and scripts.
  • Provides technical support for system users.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant degree; without a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 yrs experience will be required
  • Experience with Windows System Administration
  • Security + Certification
  • CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: IAT Level I - one of the following: A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND (Computer Network Defense), Network+CE, or SSCP.
  • SECURITY CLEARANCE: Interim Secret
