Description
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The role of the Spotter focuses on local truck and trailer movement.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Local Farm to Farm Trailer movement.
  • Shop Truck and Trailer movement.
  • May be asked to deliver short routes to local customers.
  • Trucks and Trailers to local shops for Repairs
  • Complete pre trip, in-route, and post trip Inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsements
  • Previous knowledge or experience in gas or diesel equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Must be able to lift 70 lbs on a daily basis.
  • Must be highly organized and be able to work without continuous direct supervision on the job.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule - working late if necessary, and possibly working occasional weekends and holidays to see that necessary repairs and maintenance are accomplished.
  • Must be capable of organizing a list of tasks by priority and accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
  • Must maintain a strong sense of safety in dealing with Rose Acre equipment both on and off Rose Acre property.
  • Willing to comply with all Rose Acre's employment policies.
  • Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse, neglect, or breach of bio-security in order to preserve the health and welfare of our birds.
  • Able to work in a 100% smoke-free environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Must possess the ability to work in an agricultural environment, indoors, outdoors, office, warehouse, processing, and farm production areas each varying in temperature, and other environment specific atmospheres.
  • Must be willing and able to work past the scheduled leave time to complete the job, if needed.
  • Must possess the ability to work in an open office setting.
  • Must maintain professionalism with coworkers.
