It is a spotter's duty to ensure the safety of everyone working near the job site and the rules, regulations and standards are being upheld.

Job requirements:
  • Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US.
  • Previous construction experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving physical labor at project construction sites.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Job responsibilities and description:
  • Working alongside contractors and other construction workers at a job site
  • Identifying hazards - Identify hazards that workers on the platform may not be able to see, such as overhead hazards.
  • Removing obstructions - Spotters are responsible for identifying and removing ground obstructions to ensure the stability of the scissor lift.
  • Traffic control- Implement traffic control measures to keep other workers and vehicles away from the scissor lift.
  • Ground guides - Spotters can use ground guides when moving or operating the scissor lift.
  • Being visible - The spotter remains visible to truck and equipment operators when they are moving.
  • Cleaning areas where your trade will be working.
  • Various duties or tasks relating to your trade's scope of work assigned by Senior Superintendent or Project Manager
  • Required to work weekends or overtime depending on the needs of the jobsite you are actively working at.

Job details:
  • Starting pay at $18.00 per hour
  • Full time role, guaranteed 40 hours of work
  • Monday through Friday with weekends as needed
  • Weekly pay, every Friday
  • Benefits: PTO, Long-Term Disability insurance fully paid for by company, optional enrollment in company's Medical, Dental and Vision insurance plans
